This picture sums up my relationship with my Dad perfectly! I’m always laughing at his jokes & @officiallooney references, loving the time we get to spend watching movies like #oldschool (dad’s favourite 😁), and the time we get to spend on tour together. You’ve always been there for me, teaching me through your example what it means to be a good person, a great friend and the best Dad. So many of the most memorable moments in my life I’ve been able to share with you and through all of them I’ve had that same expression on my face because you’ve been there with me. You inspire me to keep following my dreams and I love our time together. I love you Dad, Happy Birthday 🎂

That’s why I love music so much, and why I got into writing and playing music. It’s the most honest and raw way we can communicate with each other.

#thursdaythoughts on gear! . . When I play live, one of the comments I get is, “wow, your guitar sounds amazing! It’s so full sounding!” I owe it all to the amazing people at @gibsonguitaruk and @lrbaggsofficial. . Let’s be honest, playing any #acousticguitar direct through most PA systems can range in sound quality from OK to who’s torturing that cat? For the longest time I never understood why my guitar sounded amazing unplugged and didn’t when plugged in. Then a great friend of mine suggested I look at the L.R. Baggs Para Acoustic DI. This thing is outstanding, a must have piece of gear for any acoustic player!! Not only does it send a bigger signal to The PA system then most DIs (giving you a much higher quality sound and range of sounds), it’s got a built in volume control and 5-band EQ allowing you to adjust your lows, mids, and 2 different treble channels to completely adapt your sound to fit the venue your playing in. Big 5 star shout out to awesome craftsmen/women at L.R. Baggs.
